Abortion

The Rimouski Planning Clinic offers pregnancy termination services by surgery and by medications.
Our experienced team will support you with respect and without judgment, to offer you an abortion in the best of conditions, both medically and for you as an individual.
Whether you are ambivalent regarding the decision to continue or interrupt your pregnancy, it is best to call the clinic as soon as possible. A nurse or a social worker will answer your questions and will set you an appointment in the coming days.
You can call the clinic to make an appointment or to obtain information at 418-724-8578.
You can access the clinical services with or without a doctor’s reference.
In 1988, the Supreme Court of Canada removed articles from the Criminal Code regarding abortion, recognizing women the right to interrupt their pregnancy in secure conditions for their future health and fertility. This means that everyone has the right to use this intervention if such is their choice. This also implies that abortion is carried out by competent staff, according to modern medical techniques.
